We are continually updating our systems to add new features, functionality and improve usability. These system upgrades are generally released as part of our monthly systems release schedule. In order to upgrade our systems it is necessary to have a short period of planned maintenance downtime.
Maintenance events
Maintenance usually starts at 7:00 am and results in an outage of about one hour. During this time Online Services, EPP and ENUM registration systems are unavailable. The automaton receives requests which are queued for processing when systems restart.
The dates listed below show our current planned maintenance schedule. Dates are subject to change, however confirmation is sent out 7 days prior to the event with details of the expected duration and systems affected. Outage notifications are sent in 3 ways:

Release notes
Each of our monthly releases are explained in our monthly release notes. We aim to publish release notes approximately one month prior to launch (with the preceding release), however from time to time we may add functionality at a later date and update the release notes accordingly. A detailed explanation of how we will
communicate system changes is available.
