How to register a .uk domain name

You are encouraged to register a domain name through a registrar (ISP or registration agent) who will act as your agent and submit a domain name application to Nominet on your behalf.

The majority of registrars are members of Nominet UK. Although Nominet cannot recommend one specific registrar over another, we provide advice on choosing a registrar.
