In addition to approving the accounts for year ending 30 September 2011 and re-appointing Grant Thornton as our auditors, we also deal with non-executive director appointments at the AGM.

Re-appointment of independent non-executive director

Our appointed independent directors are periodically required to retire and may be re-appointed to the Board by an Ordinary Resolution of the members. This year Piers White is standing for re-appointment. The Board strongly recommends that you vote in favour of his re-appointment.

Elected non-executive directors

Every year Nominet members have the opportunity to nominate and vote for two elected non-executive director positions. This year we received three nominations, from Sebastien Lahtinen, Reza Sobati and Thomas Vollrath. Their election materials are available here:
